October 30, 2009 (Link to article written by Chris Dearing, special to The State, below) The Columbia Capitols needed a win over the Central Eagles on Thursday night in order to throw the region into a three-way tie and hope for a home field playoff game. Without their starting quarterback, the Caps limped through the game offensively while Central was explosive, led by senior Keagan Funderburk, who had 123 yards receiving and a touchdown in the 42-27 win To read about this game, CLICK HERE |
