The Columbia Capitols needed a win over the Central Eagles on Thursday night in order to throw the region into a three-way tie and hope for a home field playoff game. Central, however, had other things on their minds, such as a region title, and came to town with a purpose.

Without their starting quarterback, the Caps limped through the game offensively while Central was explosive, led by senior Keagan Funderburk, who had 123 yards receiving and a touchdown in the 42-27 win
