Poor people fought, but many wealthy did also. Look up Wade Hampton for starters. No big deal, I just don't want people thinking that, even if my family, who was poor at the time, fought beside em.
3/6 9:20 AM Actually I was at Birmingam-Southern. It's a small, liberal arts college, but like 70% of the students there were Greek.
Everything has changed since I was there....they've torn down the old fraternity row and built nice new houses (I should know - I kicked in $1000 bucks to help pay for the damn thing! LOL)
Our house was old and rickety...kinda like the house from Animal House...but damn it was fun! All the houses were lined up in one row, sloping down a hill, with 4 on our side and 2 on the other.
I just saw your message on my Fan Page. Although I do appreciate the offer, I'm afraid I'm getting a little too old and fat to look "normal" wearing a fraternity shirt anymore! LOL
All I can say is, ENJOY IT while it lasts, because those really WERE the best days of my life. Oh, I'm happily married now, with a beautiful wife and daughter and a job that I love (and, BTW, I met my wife at our frat house one Saturday night)...but I often wish I could go back to the late 90's and re-live some of those times...even I was broke!

Oh, and one other thing...I know you can remember the Creed now...but you just wait, in 10 years you'll be scrathing your head thinking "how the hell DID that thing go again??" LOL!!
