i coach aau in the upstate for last 6 years have seen a lot of girls what class are you concern about i see what i know about them but i do agree

I pretty much have seen just about every girl in the state who can dribble and chew gum at the same time and it is obvious that some of these players are chosen based on politics. I realize that this seems to be the norm, but I have never spoken out about it before and it just does an injustice to some very talented players that were omitted. It also gives a false sense of security to some of the players selected making them assume, that this process automatically guaranteees them a pass to the next level, whatever that may be. The 4A class selections in particular, trouble me. Also Tiara Knotts is probably the best point guard in the state, but she is injured and she could play on my team anyday, but if she is not playing, she shouldn't be on this list. Is the selection committee aware of this? Please advise

I KNOW LOT ABOUT 3A 2A GIRLS SOME 4A BUT THE KNOTTS GIRL IS THE REAL DEAL DID NOT HURT MY TEAM HAS PLAY AGAINST HER MANY TIMES BUT DO KNOW THE DEWART GIRL IS GOODI WILL SAY THAT MUCH CANT REMEMBER OFF HAND WHO OTHER GIRLS WHERE

I realize that these selections are based on a group of people's opinions, but there is one name in particular that trouble's me. I won't mention the player's name, but she is probably the 7th or 8th best player on her own high school team, so how can she be considered one of the top 5 seniors in the state. I have seen most of these girls play at the high school and AAU level and she did little or nothing at either. By the way, for those who have not seen, her Candace Jones from Blackville is the real deal. She would start on any team in the state and be a force, but that's just my opinion.

I REVIEW THE LIST AND HAVE SEEN ALL FIVE GIRLS PLAY AND I DO AGREE AND SEE YOUR POINT THERE IS ALSO AN ISSUE IN OTHER CLASS I SEE BUT THE COURT WILL SHOW UP ON THEM AT PLAYOFF TIME WHEN THEY DONT PRODUCE

I would like to start a thread about the top 5 player list. I have some serious concerns about how these players are picked and would like some input on what other people think. I know for a fact that it is not based on talent or even potential alone........
