Region III fans sent some pretty good feedback in:

*Northwestern lost some key guys on defense,

*SP returns some really good kids on defense front 7 and have some kids play back up roles last season that probably would’ve started on a lot of teams in the state and their JV and 9th grade team were good… 9th grade team was actually REALLY good

*Bobby Carroll is really good at what he does.

*Lancaster, all new secondary, offensive back field..we will be replacing about 8 kids on defense.

This is the kind of feedback that helps us develop our story lines!! Keep it coming, or just post it here on the message boards.

If I'm not mistaken, Northwestern is looking for a new defensive coordinator.

I heard that too. What have you heard on the South Florence job? I'm hearing either Phil Mag or David Prince.

Sure would like to see David Prince get this job

All I can say is York is going to be really dangerous. Bobby Carroll is a coach. I said the same thing last year when York was in AAA. All those kids needed was a good coach. York has some very talented starters who will be coming back for their third year starting. Their lower classmen are also very good and gained a lot of experience with that playoff run. York's 9th grade and JV teams both beat South Pointe last year. York's senior class is special. If not for the losing and lack of coaching they had to go through their first two years of high school they would probably be the talk of the state.

York will be good. No doubt @ all about that. Take heed, though....Lil' 32 ain't no joke. 10+ very solid programs in that division.

Totally agree. This year will be a challenge but I think York will be ok.

Will Clover be any better this year with 2nd year coach? Don't think they could be any worse.

I think Clover finishes in the cellar this year.

Speaking of Clover, I've heard they have players transferring to York. Is this true?

Don't see any teams in the lowcountry (Region 7&8) that will challenge Goose Creek.

West Ashley lost all 11 starters on defense, around 30 seniors total.

Summerville has a decent RB, not much else as they have to rebuild.

Beaufort was a senior laden team that lost their DC and will rebuild.

New HC at Colleton County, will need years to clean that mess up.

Region 8 will be a two horse race with Ashley Ridge and Bluffton.

Stratford has good QB returning, but lost bulk of starters.

Ain't no doubt!

Yes that is true. Last I heard Ryan Moore transferred after an extended visit with the York coaching staff.

North Augusta got a solid transfer in at Quarterback from the Peach State.

What have you heard about DF? I know the Silver Foxes will miss Quattlebaum.

Isn't that called a "prized recruit?"
