Foghorn's 2A Upperstate Predictions. This seasons message board is just too plain and boring. Thought I might loosen things up a bit with some predictions. If you remember in 06' there was a fellow that called himself the "Bossman" in the Midlands and did a great job of putting things together for players, parents, and fans to enjoy or hate depending on which side of the coin you ended up on. I am not in his poetic category but still like to put a few things on paper to see what you think!

Palmetto Bulldogs vs Strom Thurmond Rebels: The surprising Rebels of Strom Thrumond are on their own home hunting ground to take on the thundering herd of the Palmetto Mustangs. The horses are riding high with a clean run throught District I foes but may have some work to do before they start grazing again when it comes to the Rebels. The Rebels of Strom Thurmond will be the Underdog and rightfully so, but they were the Underdogs in the District II line-up and came out on top so don't count them out just yet. I have a feeling the Proms are over and the Rebels won't be in a mood to dance so Palmetto may need to bring their "A" game if they don't want to be surprised like the Vikings were on Wednesday night. Gilbert Indians pick up their teepees for the first time in the playoffs and have their warpaint on and a full arsenal of weapons to take on the Bulldogs of Pendleton. Pendleton would like to offer up a little payback to the Indians since they were the tribe that sent them packing last year in the District III semi's. Pendleton has a lot of bark, but I don't think they will have enough bite to scare away the Indians. The Indians are on the warpath and look to send the Bulldogs back to the doghouse on Saturday to lick their wounds. Foghorn's loser: Pendleton.
