Two #1 seeds lost in the first round (Colleton County, Carolina Forest) to #4 seeds from Region 5,(North Augusta, Aiken). No idea how both teams from the same region could be #4 seeds.
No score from the Hartsville - Berkeley game. You would think someone in Hartsville owns a phone and called the score in.

North Augusta was the fifth seed in the hardest region in 4A girls All five teams advance to the second round.We need to seed the teams because teams in weak conferences are getting easy region titles. Region 5 has eight teams. They took the team with the best record between region 7's fourth seed and region 5's fifth seed. North Augusta.

Who has Goose Creek play this year that is good. The only team they played was Darlington and they lost! look at their scores the only team left is Wando and they play OW tonight it doesn't look good for Goose Creek D.Fork is going to be a a tough out tonight.

Look, 3 of the 4 teams that played in the Lower State semis were from 5. 'Nuff said. GC had a great team, falling just short to O-W.
