Three-star DE gives last camp high marks

The Mississippi State coaching staff is confident about its starting defensive front, but depth is somewhat of a concern. With that in mind defensive lineman are a priority and one of Mississippi's best - Ridgeland DE Trevor Stigers - was on campus last weekend, and will go into the fall with a good lingering impression. Add in that he was with another DL prospect, and good friend, and the future appears to look bright. What stood out about the visit?

"The camp went good," he said. "I had a lot of fun at Mississippi State. I think I had the most fun at Mississippi State than I had at any of them.

"I was around (Canton DL) Josh Jackson and we went to a lot of camps together, but we had a lot of fun at this one. We interacted with the coaches, and the thing I liked the most is that the coaches spent a lot of time with the recruits and they got in good with the recruits. They talked to us, and it was more than just football, football, football…it was life after football, what Mississippi State has to offer, they had a lot of good individual work."
