Longo: "It was insane"
Three of the Bulldog official visitors over the weekend and one of them was commitment Jeremy Longo. Longo came up Saturday and left early Monday morning and he picked a great weekend to be in Athens. The school he is committed to came out in new jerseys, they beat a big rival and he was a part of all of it.
"I had been there a couple of times already and seen most things at Georgia, so I did not see anything I had not seen before," said Longo.
Not so fast my friend. He did see the new black jerseys and he saw them before over 90,000 fans did inside Sanford Stadium. Longo was in the locker room when the coaches revealed them.
"It was insane," he said when the lights were turned on and the black jerseys were given to the team. "The whole team started jumping around and they were so excited."
"I was in there with some other recruits and we all started screaming with them. It was crazy and very exciting. The team was just ecstatic about them."
The atmosphere wasn't too much different from the locker room says the future Bulldog.
"I was in Athens for the Oklahoma State game and the fans were great there, but the atmosphere this weekend was definitely the best. It was actually the best by far."
