QB1 Youth QB Training Camp Dates

QB1 offers the only dedicated program for youth QB development!

Youth athletes substantially benefit from an age-appropriate training system which considers the growth and development stage of the young athlete. Our QB1-certified coaching staff, committed to developing a partnership-relationship with parents in developing their young athletes, produce a program designed specifically for the youth Quarterback to accelerate his growth in skills at a young age. QB1 Youth assists athletes in this development and take a personal interest in each player, guiding them through the entire camp.

WHO CAN ATTEND:

Grades 4-6 (players age 9 and younger must be accompanied by parents at all camp sessions)

QB1 YOUTH CAMP LOCATIONS:

All QB1 Youth Quarterback Training Sessions are in Columbia, South Carolina; if you would like to talk about the possiblity of QB1 coming to your youth program, or are interested in one-on-one personal training, email us at [email protected]

WHAT TO EXPECT:

QB1 Youth is the same program as the standard QB1 Performance Program; athletes will be trained in every discipline of the Quarterback and is provided sequential training and repetition in every aspect of responsibilities. QB1 Youth is tailored solely for the youth QB with reduced emphasis on certain development aspects, while featuring more awareness on other, more relevant, development aspects.

•A football from your team's level, marked with your name

•Shorts, t-shirt, workout towel (QB1 Performance shirt provided)

•Cleats

QB1 Genesis/Youth Program:

•Stance & Exchange (under center and Shotgun)

•Handoff / Play Action (Iso, Zone, Belly, Bootleg, Toss)

•Toss Sweep

•Pass Drops

•Quick (Sliding 1-step, 2-step, 3-step, Hitch, Hinge)

•Intermediate / Deep / Shotgun (2-step, 3-step, 5-step, Hitch, Hinge)

•Sprintout (Half-Roll, Full Sprint)

•Coverage Read & Recognition

•Improved Consistency and Control

Footwork, Rhythm and Foot speed development

•Biomechanical Analysis Jay Patel.

THE QB1 SYSTEM:

•The most-complete, biomechanically-sound, orthopedically-endorsed curriculum on throwing mechanics, designed by QB1 Coaches in partnership with orthopedic specialists in the field of youth performance training.
