Columbia (SC) Blythewood High School Linebacker

has seen his stock skyrocket in the last week after a monster showing at the Athens Nike
Camp. The SCVarsity.com Top Ten player now has another offer to add to his list, which
takes him to four, from another SEC program.
"Vanderbilt called the school today and told Coach (Jeff) Scott that I had an
offer coming. They are going to get the paperwork ready and send it to the school,"
said White.
"I'm excited about the offer," said White. "Vanderbilt has a very high
academic standard as do I, and they just had their quarterback go high in the draft, so I
know people from the league watch them.
"White said that the Vanderbilt staff had seen the 6-0, 206lbs linebacker at the
Athens Nike Camp and felt very comfortable extending him an offer after what they saw.
Although White was not pleased with his 40 time, he tested well in every event and was
one of best looking athletes in the camp. He finished in the top five SPARQ scores.
This is White's second offer this week. The University of Georgia offered him the day
of the Nike Camp after evaluating him there. He now has offers from Middle Tennessee
State, Georgia, Maryland, and Vanderbilt. He claims he has no favorites at this point
because he's humbled by the blessing he's receiving.
Stay tuned to SCVarsity.com as we follow our top rated linebacker
through his recruiting process and his senior football season.
