Columbia Running Back Has Two Offers

Columbia High School running back Mike Davis (5-10,205) will enter the 2004 season as
one of the backs in the state of South Carolina.

As a junior, Davis was named all-state and all-area after he rushed for 2,342 yards and
33 touchdowns, helping lead his Caps team to one of their most successful seasons in
recent memory.
Davis is one of the best athletes that Columbia High School has put out in a long time
and recruiters are beginning to take notice in his explosiveness out of the backfield and
his speed and power running the football.
Currently, the All-State candidate from Maryland and Wake Forest, with Virginia Tech,
Auburn, and Alabama expressing serious interest.
Davis plans to visit Clemson, South Carolina, LSU, Auburn and Alabama this summer, but
states that he likes Virginia Tech "a lot, too."
