Low Country All-State Football Combine
The top combine in the entire Southeast is coming to the low country.

Charleston August 3rd.
The ASFC will be coming to Porter Gaud School on Saturday, August 3rd,
2013. This event is being produced to enable low country players to
partake in the top combine event in the Southeast. Because we are doing
this particular event on a high school campus, we will limit
registration to the firs 150 players.
Players from the Class of 2014 through 2018 will be allowed to
participate. Players will be measured for Height, Weight, have profile
photo's taken, and tested in the Bench Press (185lbs for reps), Broad
Jump, 40 yard dash, and pro-agility shuttle (5-10-5).
"Our South Carolina event has become so big," said SCVarsity owner and
national recruiting analyst Jim Baxter, "that we really have to start
doing regional events like this to give players an opporunity to
participate."
Baxter founded the All-State Football Combines 8 years ago after
working Nike camps and combines for years.
"We wanted to give as many kids from South Carolina an opportunity to
participate in a quality event like we were doing with Nike, so I
started doing our own event for the state."
Those events were an immediate success, drawing as many as 540 players
for the annual event.
"We've gotten to the point where we really need to split this thing to
maintain the quality. It's a lot of fun for the kids when there are 500
kids there, but it is near impossible to do quality evaluations. It's
also difficult for families to travel the distance to that centrally
located event, so to make it more accessible and to help the staff and
myself with the evaluation process, we want to implement some regional
events."
The low country event will be held SATURDAY, AUGUST 3RD in CHARLESTON,
SC.
WHO is eligible: All Rising 9th through Rising 12th graders (Class of
2017, 2016, 2015, and 2014)
Cost of Event: $30.00 (includes performance shirt)
Site: TBA (two sites in Charleston area are being surveyed)
Time: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
This event will be limited in number of participants. Do NOT wait to
register if you want to attend. We will not take walk ups and once the
spots are filled, we will close registration. This is the last combine
event of the Summer.
