offensive lineman

has developed into one of the most sought after prospects in the state from the
Class of 2009 class. Now, the big trenchman, who is an SCVarsity.com Top 25
player, has received another offer from a major DI power with a lot of
tradition.
The University of Miami faxed an official offer to Timberland High School for
Washington this morning.
Among Washington's numerous offers are Alabama, Clemson, Maryland, NC State,
South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Washington wants to go to a school that graduates their players and puts them
into the NFL. Proximity to home is not as important, but he did say he wants to
feel comfortable where he goes so he won't get "home sick."
Washington won the unlimited class at the 2008 State Strength Meet this past
weekend with a bench of 375, a squat of 565, and a 5.34 40.
Washington was one of the top players on hand at SCVarsity.com's All-State Football
Combine last Spring, where he finished in the top two for bench press reps at 26 (185lbs).
SCVarsity.com will keep you updated on this outstanding player's
