Richardson raking in the offers as their stock continues to soar, and the two
trenchmen received word of another ACC school's offer this evening. Cloy, a
6-foot-4, 265-pound prospect could play either center or guard at the college level, while
Richardson, a two way starter for the Vikings, has been primarily focused on as an
offensive tackle.
Cloy, a lacross player, is one of the more athletic offensive linemen in the state. He
has very good technique and he is on pace to break the school record for knock-down
blocks, currently held by former Viking Leon Hart.
Besides the Wolfpack, Cloy has offers from Vanderbilt, Clemson, South Carolina,
Southern Miss, and East Carolina.
"Someone reported the other day that I had been offered by Duke and
Stanford," said Cloy, "but if they did, its news to me because I haven't talked
to them."
The big lineman runs a 4.9 40, power cleans 300, and squats 475.
Cloy's GPA has fluxuated, but prior to the Clemson visit, he was at a 3.8. He's a
cerebral football player so will be looking at what the school's offer academically, as
well as on the gridiron.
Richardson, a 6-4, 270lbs two way starter, has tremendous speed and agility, a great
wing-span, and is a very aggressive player. Other than the Wolfpack, he has offers from
Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and
Virginia Tech. He had 79 knockdown blocks last fall.
