The first session of the QB1 Quarterback and Wide Receiver
Training Days is in the books and it was a fantastic day. EVERYONE in
attendance GOT BETTER.
THERE ARE CURRENTLY 5 QUARTERBACK SPOTS and 10 WIDE RECEIVER
SPOTS REMAINING FOR THE REMAINING THREE SESSIONS. ONCE THE SPOTS ARE
TAKEN, REGISTRATION IS SHUT DOWN.
The QUARTERBACK and WIDE RECEIVER TRAINING DAYS are the
absolute best
off-season mini-camps for quarterbacks and wide receivers in the state
of South Carolina. These training days are instructive and performance
based giving your player the ultimate experience without the high cost
of so called "elite camps" that promise the moon.
What your player gets with the QB1 QUARTERBACK AND WIDE RECEIVER
TRAINING DAYS is four, three-hour sessions (12 hours total) of
instruction on every phase of play in relation to his position. From
speed and agility and position specific skills sessions, which focus on
drills and excercises in mechanics designeds specifically for his
position to an intense performance session where the athletes perform
their position in skills-practice sessions, your quarterback and
receivers will leave knowing they've had the best workout they've ever
had with them as the focus.
Each three hour TRAINING DAY includes three, one-hour phases:
Speed and Agility training focuse at drills designed specifically
for the mechanical requirements for their position. During this phase,
athletes will also learn about nutrition and training.
Position instruction and drills which will cover the mechanical
issues, footwork, and mental aspect of their position. Each athlete
will leave the session with specific 'home work' assignments to work on
between TRAINING DAYS and will be evaluated on those mechanics upon
return of the next training session.
Performance/Practice phase will put the quarterbacks and
receivers together for an hour-long phase of performance. During
performance, players will be evaluated by staff so that they will know
exactly what they need to work on for the next TRAINING DAY.
You cannot control how tall you are, how good your competion will be,
or how hard your competitors will work. What you can control are the
development of your own speed, you footwork, your mechanics, your
understanding of the mental side of the game, and how hard you will
work. We will only concentrate on the things that you do have control
over.
These TRAINING DAYS are open to all quarterbacks and wide receivers
from grades 7 through 12. It is highly recommended for the younger age
group to start this specific type of training now to prevent the
development of bad habbits. Our coaches have worked national camps such
as Elite 11, QB1 Challenge, as well as the Nike, UnderArmour and
All-State football combines.
The cost of the QB1 QUARTERBACK AND WIDE RECEIVER TRAINING DAYS is low
so that your athletes can participate. You may attend one session or
all four. The cost of the sessions is $30.00 unless you register for
the entire package for $100.00 (just 25.00 per session). We highly
recommend you registering for all four sessions, as different
skills/mechanics are taught at each TRAINING DAY. The cost of these
TRAINING DAYS are less expensive than what you will pay for even
personal trainers. For this first block of four sessions in Columbia,
South Carolina, there will be only 20 slots for quarterbacks and 20
slots for receivers.
Training Day Sessions will be held The Plex in Columbia, South Carolina
on weekends of January 26th and February 16th and 23rd, and March 2nd.
Training
Days are held in four sessions to give players a chance to
practice skills/mechanics that were gone over during training day
sessions. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please feel
free to email me at
