Sumter Quarterback Impressed With Virginia Tech
The Sumter Gamecocks put together a great season in 2005 and look forward to another
outstanding season in 2006. One of the reasons is the return of one of the state's top

signal callers, Kendrick Pressley. For Easter, Pressley took in a visit to Virginia Tech
and came away as impressed with the Hokies as they were with him.
"They basically told me they were going to offer me," said Pressley, "if
I measured in at 6'"
Pressley measures at 6 feet even and weighs 170lbs.
According to Pressley, the Hokies told him he would have an "opportunity" at
quarterback if he wanted, but the wide receivers' coach was very impressed with him
athletically. He runs a sub 4.4 fourty yard dash.
Pressley is a dangerous dual threat quarterback with big play ability. He was a 1000
yards passer in 2005. He will be attending the Nike Camp in Athens (GA) on the 29th of
this month.
